Concentrating on the artificial evocation of the abject using a variety of common/ man made materials, I was originally a sculpture artist but due to the pandemic I’ve had to adapt my practice to the digital realm which is why most of my work aims to evoke curiosity and a desire for interaction from the viewer through film. Working primarily with the abject, it is easy to deduce the feminist connotations from my work as I like to film the exaggeration and the repulsion of the female body in terms of secretion, menstruation, lactation, and therefore the abject.
