The past year has been a period of reflection and an opportunity to reset. As everything came to a halt, many of us switched to greener modes of transport, consumed local, reused and recycled. I personally have become more mindful about what and how I consume, which has fuelled the initial business idea.
My final business project, And Ever, is an app concept for within the fashion industry that aims to close the sustainability action gap. Our vision is to end an era of fast fashion and encourage a slower, more meaningful and joyful way of life.
Sustainability is undeniably at the forefront of conversation within the fashion industry, but as a result everyone has interpreted the term in their own way. According to the 2021 Consumer Report by Deloitte, consumers want businesses to help them to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. The reality behind sustainability is complex and often complicated, so making good choices can be difficult.
And Ever is changing that by simplifying their search for ethically made clothing and offering support in the form of practical tools, actionable tips and deep knowledge that we believe are necessary for lasting lifestyle changes. We are committed to supporting women on a personal level, without judgement or trying to achieve perfection.
We are all on this journey together. Just real lives, real situations and real conversations with people who genuinely care about the future of our planet. With an optimistic outlook, we wish to promote the joy in living resourcefully and how simple it can be when you’ve got the right support circle at And Ever.
