Taking a three-dimensional approach to art has been a new and exciting concept for me this year. It has been a completely new medium that has introduced me to different styles and artists which will inspire me further when going into a performance design course in the new academic year. This Final Major Project has been driven by ideas of freedom and expression in terms of gender. Combatting gender stereotypes and expectations in masculinity through different medias such as photography, light projections and text work was something I wanted to do as it is such a current and evolving issue in our modern society.
