Connor Austen

My work is made for shock value, I enjoy getting a reaction from people and seeing their views on what I produce. I specialise in fashion promotion by using photography and styling skills to create, social media content, magazine content and sometimes experiment video content. I like producing work subtly out the ordinary whilst still being relatable to the audience. Throughout the foundation year I have invested my ideas into 3 projects; House Beautiful, a lockdown project looking at the night after a party in the bathroom, promoting the brand Colgate using contradictory advertisement. The Journey, a project following a muse during their spiritual awakening. And my FMP “You and Your Clothing” which explores the femininity’s and masculinity’s in mens style and whether personality has a play.
