I am a director, producer and sound artist working with different media and genres. “Burn Out Mind” is a dance film exploring expressive solo choreography that uses performance to address and dramatise themes of creative self-doubt. The narrative unfolds to express the dancer’s freedom from negative inhibitions. The film tells the story of her inner creative conflicts and these are explored using movement and abstract light projections that contrast the dancer’s passive poses and her inner emotional anxiety. The project, “Culturally Lost”, is a multi-layered audio spoken word composition developed during lockdown whilst living at home in Portugal. It is an emotional reflection of self-exploring archetypes of the unconscious, memory, passing time and inner thoughts. I am interested in content creation and music production and developing a career within a creative production studio.
