Eleanor Walker

This series of illustrations is based from the theme of “Botany in Fashion”, each piece inspired by the different branches of botany. Throughout my work I used a variety of Media, including: acrylic paint, water-colour paint, and paper and fabric collage, all on A2 paper. My approach to this was to look at each separate branch of my theme and observe shape, form, and colour in order to translate it into a garment, completed through illustration. Overall, I found myself motivated by what we view as natural or unnatural in this world and how we can work with it to create something else.
