I’ve chosen six images from four out of five of the photo series I created for my Final Major Project. I wanted to better understand human perception and the things that influence our perceptions. I wanted to see if I could make something boring become interesting, make something interesting become boring, make something beautiful become ugly and make something ugly become beautiful. The six images I chose are only a part of the Boring to Interesting and Beautiful to Ugly experiments.

Am I Ugly Yet?: A ‘beautiful’ person tries their hardest to make themselves ‘ugly’.
My Shoelace Called Solace: I went around Greater London taking pictures of boring and mundane items and then made them interesting in Post.
Just Another Mundane/Shamefully Fry’d: I wanted to distort the use mundane items that are sometimes overlooked, to make them interesting.
Terrific! Smells Like Nails On A Chalkboard: I took images of beautiful views (I also used stock photos) and created photomontages/collages.
