Hello! I’m Hannah and my main goal for this final major project was to have fun and create work I would be proud of which I have successfully achieved.  During this project, I have had the opportunity to work as part of a team and as an individual. Together Rayhannah Preston and I worked on multiple campaigns including Subway and Royal Mail. However, I also worked by myself producing 2 campaigns – PG tips and Welsh National Opera.

PG tips are committed to working towards a better planet. Since environmental adverts can sometimes be boring and plain I decided to make my campaign more humorous and fun.

This campaign aims to make letters popular again as letter volumes have fallen by a third. We followed the insight that messages are more meaningful when they are handwritten. We played on the emotion of letters being more personal as you can add doodles, lipstick marks or a flower and so on in with your letter. In this particular ad, we redesigned the Royal mails website to fit to our theme.

Due to the pandemic Subway had to close multiple stores in certain locations to comply with the government's rules and regulations. The brief was to keep the Subway brand alive in an innovative way through the pandemic. Therefore, Rayhannah and I came up with the idea of the Subway Van.

Through research we discovered ‘Under the conditions of Covid19-, many tend to be less physically active, have longer screen time, irregular sleep patterns as well as worse diets, resulting in weight gain and loss of physical fitness.’ As a result, the Subway Van would be the first step to encourage people to eat more healthily hence our endline let fresh come to you.

The Welsh National Opera is celebrating 75 years during the pandemic and needs donations to help stay afloat. The idea of this campaign is to promote a live showcase on their website to help raise money. This is a thank you flyer that will be sent to people who have donated.
