Harriet Brookes

Harriet Brookes is a Wales-based photographer who primarily works with analogue processes, often documenting spaces and traces. ‘The Road’ was part of their exploration into utilising art as therapy, during one of many pandemic lockdowns. This body of work is a journey into a tense and claustrophobic living situation, creating a narrative all too familiar to many across the world. Brookes recounts memories throughout a book with the use of text, diary excerpts and images. It attempts to capture such an unforgettable slice of time within history.
