Inter nos Plantae is a performative work reflecting on obsessions and fascination with interspecies relationship with domestic plants. Meaning ‘we among the plants’ Inter nos Plantae is an experimental poetic video project based on human-plant dynamics. From taking care of our house plants to the integration of nature in our cities nter nos Plantae is intended to slow the viewer down, watching slow plant-centric visuals along with the sound of the surroundings mixed with the sounds of human heartbeats, breathing, walking amongst the nature and sounds of interactions.
The first part of this project Inter nos Plantae 1 is the first video of the project, it is an intimate video of my garden that has been grown throughout lockdown, showing pepper plants, broad beans, peas and various lettuce and herb plants. The visuals are close and intimate to allow the viewer to viscerally connect with the seedlings.
I have skills in Adobe Create Suite, Blender, Camera and Graphic Design with experience of working in design studios and creative media production for moving and print output. I am a passionate digital artist with years of experience in multiple types of software. I am always eager to work and experiment in new collaborative projects.
