Theme

My work here is from projects completed in my final year, based on ethics, philosophy and yoga.

The work based on philosophy and ethics was inspired by my research into the two subjects. How we make decisions and the contributing factors that go into humans making choices. Linked to the way an image can tell a story. While the monochrome image showing how it is to read a piece of text, with philosophy in mind and the act of connecting things between the pages.

The other images are a selection of pages from my book based on yoga – ‘Curated Movement’. A subject that I have been interested in over the past couple of years and wanted to learn more about. Focusing on yoga through research, I particularly focused on Ayurveda Energy and Doshas. Explaining how our bodies have unique structures with relation to the natural elements. By exploring the connection the two themes have, my work explores how yoga sequences can have different purposes with how the body can be moved and curated, exploring both asana (physical posture) and pranayama (breath) in a playful and purposeful way.

The purpose of the sequence informed each layout and colour, furthering the intention of each section of the book. Created digitally to have a bold and vibrant outcome.
