The majority of my work has been focused on feminism and body image, how it has been influenced by female fashion and issues surrounding this throughout recent times. I feel very passionate about this topic as I feel that it needs to be talked about more within today’s society. I based my propaganda project on equality within gender roles and then went on to show how all shapes and sizes are beautiful in their own way. I also completed the Coppafeel campaign which raises awareness for breast cancer, normalising checking you breasts monthly. My final project on youth culture was based on ‘90s female fashion where I created feminine looks aimed to empower young women.
I have a very strong interest in fashion and how it makes women feel, so I aim to continue studying this throughout my time at UCA, then later as a career.
