My main approach toward this acrylic painting was to portray the 5 main emotions i experience. Most of the motivating factors included my love and joy for art as well as showing my skill-set. The theme for my self-portraits was personal identity and looking deeper into emotions. The main goal of this work was to portray how emotions looked to me and the colours they correlated with. I painted with acrylic on a 80x100cm canvas which took a little over 2 weeks to complete.
