Jodie Ashforth is a photographer who uses digital imagery to capture nature and the people that surround her. These images are a mixture of documentary and portrait photographs. Inspired by her late grandad, Jodie enjoys the ability to create rich and refreshing photographs to uplift viewers. Jodie allows the bright colours of nature to be seen within her imagery, adding a spark of vibrancy to the photographs. Jodie’s most recent work documents the relationship between nature and the people who interact with it, in man-made environments to discover the true connection between the two. Inspired by Simon Roberts, the work documents the landscape with people scattered amongst it, showing different variations throughout the project.
