My identity
This video was an expression of my identity evolving due to the media that influences me. Media such as anime, tv shows, animated films and social media platforms. In addition to this, I wanted to highlight my friendships and how they started. This was important because friends often help me grow as a person.
My choice of colours was influenced by my love for cartoons such as oggy and the cockroaches that often utilise a bright colour palette to enhance the positive atmosphere for those watching.
I decided to make an animatic because it moves in a way that represents the evolution of my identity. Highlighting my beliefs, values and interests with an easy to watch video.
Creating this project took a lot of time and changed depending on my headspace throughout the weeks. This helped me create something more personal and emotional, a true reflection of what I feel.
