This showcase is my way of expressing all the work I’ve completed over the past year and a bit. Work ranging from videos, social studies and analogue photography. I have had the opportunity to try lots of different medias in creative art and I’ve progressed my skills in film and photography.
All the photography is taken by me and all taken via the use of analogue film, this is a medium I enjoy using as it feels more genuine and you have to make each photo count. I also enjoy the tense nature of collecting them from developing and not really knowing what I’m going to get.
Over the past year I’ve found a new love for film work, whether writing, filming or editing. From the pieces I’ve created so far I’ve been able to try a range of different styles. I look forward to what the next year offers to try more.
My final piece for the year consisted of a social study around the topic of Identity. Looking into depth about what it means to people and how the feel the past years have affected the topic. I was able to learn a lot about film making through this but I also learnt a lot about others and the idea of Identity
