The United Kingdom’s fishing industry has seemingly been neglected by the government. Due to the negative impact of Brexit, hundreds of fishermen have been struggling to get by every day and make a living. Many European trawlers are being allowed to rack up most of the profit in fish in The English Channel. To counteract this problem, Swan Wharf is being built as a helping hand to save the local fishermen in its area. With the support of consumers and smaller businesses dedicated to aiding this small population of hard workers, we can surely save this industry before the 5-year marker is up.
