I decided to recreate The Smiths album covers to make them appeal to a new generation. I like the original covers, but they are very simplistic, utilising just simple existing photography and minimal typography and I feel that they are not so modern anymore, so I recreated them to in effect re-launch their music by creating eye-catching imagery for a new generation.
