Lauren Grannum specialises in loose, 2D hand-drawn animation and is recently experimenting with a newfound love for painterly textures and bold colours. Grannum loves to focus her work on interpersonal relationships, with an emphasis on quelling anxieties and loneliness.
The pieces showcased tells the story of a young woman who finally escapes the monotony of her daily commutes when she spots a real life angel on the same train as her. This film acts as an allegory for the clash between my Catholic upbringing and understanding my sexuality.
