For my Final Major Project, I decided to create a fabric book on the theme of feminism. I chose feminism as my subject as it’s something I’m passionate about. I also think it’s important to create art about significant topics such as feminism as it gives more meaning and challenges people to think about their views on different topics. Barbara Kruger was a huge influence on most of my designs for my fabric book as I love the bold and direct aesthetic of her art. To print my designs onto the fabric I used the cyanotype process as it’s a printing method I really enjoyed.
