Marysia Dickinson

This is “Pickled And Preserved Organs”, shown by a fabric installation and a mixture of paintings and drawings. My main inspiration for this installation piece was Annette Messager’s anatomical installations and Damien Hirst’s preserved animals. I combined a series of paintings and drawings using different media inspired by different artists to create a background for my main installation piece.

I chose this topic because I find the human body really interesting and I like the fact that we have these complex organs inside of us that we cannot physically see.
