I work predominantly with moving image, ranging from filmed, live footage, to rotoscope and stop motion animation. My work aims to be a reflection of the current times in my life, focusing on either emotions i’m feeling, things I am interested in or places I have been, almost acting as a visual diary.
Untitled_NewSong.mp3 features original music which was a collaborative project between myself and my younger brother, something that we often do and had an excess of time to work on during the past year.
The film aims to immerse viewers into the song and connect you to the construction of the piece itself. Playing with the ‘hand made’ aspect of animation, it embraces home made music videos and allows the music to come alive whilst you watch.
