Theme

I direct and produce short films and have a passion for storytelling as evidenced in my long-standing YouTube channel entitled Trains in the Attic running sponsored fundraising projects as live streams with successful sponsorship from Hornby Trains. My creative folio consists of experimental film and installation work. I am technically versatile in writing, directing and producing diverse forms of moving image work. I also work with electronics to develop interactive platforms. I have a broad working knowledge of Adobe Suite. I am technically versatile and keenly interested and follow new technological developments. Throughout my studies, I have been sought out as a crew member on drama and music video production work. I am familiar with a variety of production and post-production skills that include location production, studio and location sound recording, motion graphics, titling and subtitling and video editing. I have practical knowledge of professional practices in risk assessment and Covid Safety and I also work with electronics to develop interactive platforms.

In addition to my major project, I was director, producer, editor and sound designer for my major project, entitled, “Requiem for a Sarson Falconer”. A poetic spoken word film essay based on a personal story of scattering a loved one’s ashes. I was gaffer and technical assistant on numerous experimental films and curated exhibitions for Elisha Fall. I worked on a complex Music Video production assisting in set build and lighting for Cristina Ene. I worked as a lighting technician for an experimental dance film for Micki Kahlon. 

I am experienced in producing exhibition work and played a key role in organising a London student exhibition at the Bargehouse, OXO Tower, London. I have a wide range of skills in pre-production and professional work that include Covid Risk assessment. I am an experienced camera operator with a good understanding of DMX protocols for lighting and data handling. I also have post-production skills that include 360 photography. Live streaming skills using OBS and multi-camera operations. I am an accomplished and confident filmmaker working with a range of relevant professional specialist techniques evidenced in a resolved folio of high-quality work. My employment experience and filmmaking skills have always required complex problem solving and finding workarounds. I am confident in my technical skills and work well in public-facing roles. I find teaching and passing on my skills rewarding.  I am a highly motivated creative person with a proven ability to work independently and in teams and seeking work in a small creative production company. I am also keen to find work in exhibition production for public museums, galleries and working with schools.
