Ruby Belsom

I was heavily inspired by my theme of oceanography for this project, so I decided to bring to live one of my personal favourite species of sea creature, the jellyfish onto a human silhouette. The entirety of the garment and hat parts are made from recycled plastics, materials or dresses I had on hand, this was to highlight the impact of rubbish replacing sea creature populations and how we can make use of items we typically throw away.
