Through some data research on the current situation of logistics in China, I learned that the cost of logistics packaging is very huge. And there have always been problems of excessive packaging and low recycling rates. To address and solve the issue of wasting packaging materials, I propose to design a recyclable delivery box that can provide protection to the inside items and reduce the usage of unnecessary packaging materials. It can also fit with shared delivery lockers to achieve cyclic utilization. The locker can be converted into energy by collecting natural resources, thus benefitting the green environment of the city.

This system will be aimed at communities that meet the installation conditions of lockers, as well as goods that comply with the range of the three size specifications of the lockers.

In the design process, because I don’t know much about the problems that couriers will encounter in actual work and how different users feel about the logistics system, I designed a questionnaire, hoping to use it to make my design solution to the actual needs of users.
