Sukhwinder Singh

Sukhwinder’s practise is inspired by his own personal experience of living with bone cancer as a child. His work includes a selection of X-ray scans and MRI reports from this time. He replicates the shapes and patterns visible within the scans through photographic illustration and experiments with patterns found within the natural landscape, such as mountains, trees and large buildings. Sukhwinder uses different combinations of colour in his artwork to show the images and textures which he saw during his cancer treatment.
