For my Final Major Project I chose to create a zine based around my own experiences of the urban environment in my home city of Canterbury. ‘CT SPACES’ is a visual exploration of the spaces important to me and my friends, taking the reader on a journey through a unique perspective on the city. Although it is primarily a piece of graphic design, it showcases a wide variety of artistic processes, including cyanotype printing, line drawing, mono printing and photography, all techniques that I have consistently developed and improved upon over the past year. Combining all of these and putting my work together into a coherent zine was certainly a challenge but helped me to learn a wide variety of skills that will help inform and further my future practice.
