Ecofeminism is a subject of the moment, and I believe its existence can unite everyone in a way that we address gender inequality while confronting the issue of ecology. I had not thought about the fact that ecology and I are equally oppressed by patriarchal systems, nor had I thought about the similarities between me as a woman and nature. I have blurred the boundaries between plants, sex and the flesh to speak about my understanding of the subject from my own experience and perspective, to make sure I find my answers and hopefully use the language of my camera to touch more people to draw attention to ecology, to women and equality.
